Best age to start Abacus is 5 yrs onwards, and there is no age limit to learn Abacus. However typically we have seen students upto age of 15 yrs interested in learning Abacus
Yes. Abacus is a wonderful program to induce confidence. It is a brain development program through the use of hand-eye-ear coordination and if done correctly, it helps the child in field of Maths by making him an expert in arithmetic operations mentally, as well as numerous other spheres of life.
Prices usually vary for each academy and /or for each geography. At MathCruise we believe in optimally defining the Abacus course into 9 levels of approx. 3 months each, with each level costing 7500 INR as tution fees for India location students, plus nominal charges for books. (The fee structure is higher for students based outside of India due to premium time slots / time zone difference). Results are guaranteed for each level and a child is not promoted to next level until the desired level of results are achieved.

At Mathcruise: We believe in going a little slow but ensuring that the concepts are well understood and practiced by the child, so that he is well familiar before proceeding to the next topic.

Yes, if taught by professionals and in the right way then Abacus is an easy to learn course with great results. Usually the initial results are visible to parents in 2-3 months time. Note that its easy as long as daily practice of 10 min is done consistently.
It’s a MYTH. Does a person who knows multiple-languages like English and French and Hindi ever get confused while communicating in each of these languages? We are sure you would agree the answer is NO. Similarly, Abacus is a different language to do Maths (Arithmetic operations mainly), and under the guidance of professional trainer he will never get confused. Infact Abacus supplements the regular /traditional Maths since the child can cross-check all his arithmetic operations mentally (without paper and pen) and is a great confidence booster, and also saves on time in exams thus getting an edge over his peers.
