While Abacus is a great course and we recommend every parent to go for it, there are certain pre-conditions that must be validated by every parent before enrollment. There are certain scenarios when we do not recommend joining Abacus. You must assess how your child is doing in basic school Math? His foundation must be strong and just in case there are gaps then we strongly advise not to enroll in Abacus, instead work on the basic school concepts first. Else it will really be difficult to fix the foundation concepts at a later stage. You still have many years (until the age of 15) to learn Abacus and can delay it by a few months. And be rest assured – our chief trainer also ensures to do this assessment for every child, before enrollment.

You can also opt from one of our running batches based on your preference and given that there is a seat available in that batch since we ensure to keep the batch size small at all times (maximum six students) to enusre indovidual attention to every student.

In fact we call it an assessment or the evaluation class where our trainer interacts with both the child and the parent to understand if the child really needs Abacus, or should he build his school foundation Maths first or focus on Olympiads more to enhance his logical and analytical reasoning skills. We only recommend Abacus if the child really needs Abacus (based on various factors like his age, his current underatnding of Maths concepts etc) since we ensure to give the right recommendation to parents.

Generally we recommend the child to be in the age group of 5 – 15 years since the children younger than this will not recognize basic numbers, and children older than 15 years typically lose interest to learn basic addition and subtraction at that age. Vedic Maths and Olympiads are more suited courses for children older than 15 years.
